FFL Transfers
An FFL Transfer is required any time a firearm changes ownership. If a firearm is purchased on-line, it must be transferred to an FFL dealer to be picked up. Maxon's does not do FFL transfers on new guns, but we would be happy to give you a price on the firearm you are looking for.
If you are looking to transfer a used firearm, we would be more than happy to facilitate the transfer for $55. If you are looking to transfer a new firearm that we can not get for you, the transfer is $85.
In order to start the process, the buyer needs to come in to Maxon's to fill out the paperwork and pay for the transfer. At that point, we will fax our FFL to the seller so that they can ship the firearm.
