We decided to test the Ally One, Angel Armor's ballistic insert by shooting it with 5 different pistol calibers.

Want to see how it did?

Maxon's training coordinator Dave tested out the Ally One by Angel Armor on a zombie target last week to see just what kind of impacts this personal armor can really withstand. We are glad to say it successfully prevented penetration from 4 out of the 5 calibers shot at it, the 1 out 5 being that Dave simply impacted the nylon cover of the insert instead of the ballistic insert itself with his 2nd round. Not the Ally One's fault. He first thought his 2nd round impacted low near the 357mag, but after inspection it was determined that it missed. Other than that it performed flawlessly as expected. Being that it is only 9x12in it is easy to fit into a backpack, laptop bag, or anything really. It only weighs maybe a pound so it is easy to carry too. This is definitely a great EDC ballistic armor.
