Let us help you improve your skills with this live fire class that utilizes your own holster and firearm.

This is the follow up class for Holster Skills level 1, which is a prerequisite for this class. We will focus on drawing from the strong side hip from outside or inside the waistband. Simple drills will be utilized to help you refine your draw technique.

Your range fee, hearing/eye protection, targets, and classroom materials are all included in the cost!

Requirements

  1. You must have a valid IL concealed carry permit
  2. You must have taken Holster Skills Level 1 within that last 6 months
  3. All students must wear pants or shorts with belt loops and a belt
  4. Quality firearm and holster (either inside or outside the waistband) with 2 extra magazines
  5. All students must bring their own 100 rounds of  ammunition, or purchase from Maxon before class
  6. You must bring your own concealment garment

THIS IS A LIVE FIRE CLASS

Each class is limited to 8 students so everyone gets the instruction, and guidance, needed to feel confident and comfortable on the range.

The topics covered will be:

  • Review of mechanics of a proper draw and re-holster
  • Live fire shooting from the draw at the strong side hip location
  • Review of IL Concealed Carry Act
  • Proper use of concealment garments (vest, jacket, loose over-shirt) 
  • Combat mind set
  • Psychological and physiological responses to stress

Equipment
We use only the finest training materials including SIRT training pistols, a wide selection of rental firearms, and large screen TV's in a comfortable classroom.

All training classes are non-refundable, but may be re-scheduled once with at least 72 hours notice.

Failure to show, or less than 3 days notice given of inability to attend, will result in a 25% rescheduling fee.
