Return Policy

  • What can be returned?
    • Accessory purchases, and apparel, may be returned in original re-sellable condition with all original packaging and a receipt within 30 days of purchase. Leather holsters may not be returned. Firearms, once transferred, may not be returned. Pending firearm sales may be canceled, but will incur a $50 re-stocking fee. Gift Certificates and Range Passes may not be returned. All Gun Safe, in-store and online, sales are final. Canceled sales will incur a minimum 10% restocking fee.
  • All training classes are non refundable, but may be rescheduled
    • Training classes, appointments, range reservations, and private instruction appointments are not refundable but may be rescheduled once for no additional cost with at least 72 hours notice. A 25% fee will be applied for multiple re-scheduling and or for re-scheduling with less than 72 hours notice.
    • Every training class has a required minimum number of students. If a class you signed up for does not meet the required minimum number of students, your class may be cancelled and you can choose another available class date to reschedule into.
  • Concealed Carry License Classes: rescheduling or failure to complete training
    • 16, 8, or 3 hours of training are required by the state to finish the concealed carry license course. Once you start the course we do not allow students to split classes or choose from different dates to complete the training; additionally if you fail to show up for a class we must restart your training and additional fees will apply. We limit participation in our classes in order for students to receive the highest quality experience. Therefore, there will be a 25% rescheduling fee for failure to show up to any concealed carry class, or failure to show up on time, due to the fact that our concealed carry classes regularly sell out.
  • Where do items need to be returned?
    • For apparel purchased online you can either bring your item to the store at 75 E Bradrock, Des Plaines IL, 60018 or ship it back to us with your original receipt (order email or packing slip) for a refund. Warranty

  • Maxon Shooter's Supplies offers an in-house $75 warranty provided by our gunsmithing department. This warranty is offered for most factory new firearms that are purchased at Maxon and select used firearms. 

  • Any manufacturer related defect will be addressed directly with the manufacturer.  Maxon will pay for all shipping related costs (if the firearm needs to be sent back to the manufacturer) and communicate on the customer's behalf with the manufacturer.  This includes any safety recalls or safety upgrades that may be recommended by the manufacturer. 

  • Any other defect that is detected (and is not the fault of the user) will be covered by Maxon's gunsmithing department.

  • Customers should not disassemble the firearm beyond the field stripping explained in the firearm's owner's manual. Aftermarket parts installations that have been installed by anyone other than a Maxon gunsmith are not covered. The labor and installation on aftermarket parts that are installed by Maxon are covered but the actual part itself is not. 

  • Any modification that may compromise the integrity of the frame or slide voids the Maxon warranty. 

  • Maxon reserves the right to refuse to install any aftermarket parts that we deem to be unsafe.

Matching Prices

  • Maxon Shooter's Supplies and Indoor Range will price match firearms in-store. If you find a lower advertised price from a competitor's local store (within 20 mile radius) we will match that price.

    • Must be a verifiable exact match (make/model).

    • You must bring with you at time of purchase proof of competitor pricing in the form of a print advertisement, email, or web page.
    • We reserve the right to limit quantity.

    • No additional discounts will apply.

    • Does not apply when the price includes special offers or promotions such as rebates, mail in offers, free with purchase, limited quantity offers, special financing, misprints, liquidation, or bundle offers.

    • Product must be in stock at the competitor, and at Maxon Shooter's Supplies and Indoor Range, at time of request. In stock means that the firearm is available in store that day.

    • Local Store means a competitor’s retail store within 20 miles of 75 E Bradrock, Des Plaines IL, 60018

Shipping Policy

  • How, and where, do we ship?

    • Maxon ships range passes and gift certificates via 1st class USPS. Firearm shipments are to contiguous lower 48 states only, and California shipments may be subject to additional fees. Firearms will be shipped only to FFL dealers via FedEx or UPS. You must bring a hard case with you, or purchase one in-store, for us to package and ship your firearm in.

  • Rates to ship:

    • Range Passes and Gift Cards purchased online ship free. Other online purchases have varying shipping costs determined by weight. To ship a firearm to another FFL for you it is a $100 service fee per handgun, and $150 service fee per long gun. To ship a firearm to a manufacturer for repair it is a $50 service fee per firearm. If you purchased the firearm from us though, and included a lifetime warranty at the time of purchase, the service fee is waived and we will cover the cost of shipping.
