Handgun Safety Course Continued with Concealed Carry Preparation

You certainly learn a lot in our basic pistol one class, but that class alone is not really enough to get you ready to carry a concealed firearm. There are so many things to consider. So let us help you make the right choices when it comes to the how, when, and where you carry. Plus: take this opportunity to try out many different compact pistols, and shoot twice as much ammo as you did in basic one!

Your range fee, hearing/eye protection, targets, classroom materials, gun rentals, and ammo are all included in the cost!

Requirements

  1. You must be over 18, or with a parent/legal guardian if you are 15-17 years of age.
  2. You must have a valid FOID, state ID, or driver's license with you
  3. You must have taken our Basic Pistol Level 1, or equivalent training, to ensure you already understand at least the basics of safe gun handling, and operation of both semi-auto's and revolvers.

Prepare Yourself for the IL CCL Qualification Shoot

Use this opportunity to test yourself and see if you are ready to pass the Illinois Concealed Carry qualification requirements. PLUS: if you take this class within 6 months of taking our Basic Pistol Training Level 1 class, you will receive another Basic Pistol Class certificate that can be used as 8 hours credit towards the 16 hours required to apply for your Illinois Concealed Carry License.

We value your time. You can sign up and reschedule training classes online, and all of our amenities are in just one location!
Equipment
We use only the finest training materials including SIRT training pistols, a wide selection of rental firearms, and large screen TV's in a comfortable classroom.

All training classes are non-refundable, but may be re-scheduled once with at least 72 hours notice.

Failure to show, or less than 3 days notice given of inability to attend, will result in a 25% rescheduling fee.

If you would prefer a private class, that can be arranged. But it will be priced based upon availability and number of students.
